Josef Sudek was a Czech photographer who was born in 1896. Josef Sudek has had numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Gagosian Gallery, New York (980 Madison Avenue) and at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at auction, including ‘Sans titre (Étude de nature-morte), 1952’ sold at Sotheby’s Paris ‘Photographs’. There have been Numerous articles about Josef Sudek, including ‘Art in Review; ‘From Within” written by Ken Johnson for New York Times in 2003. The artist died in 1976.
